What started as a simple day running errands ended with a Missouri Lottery player uncovering a $50,000 prize on a “Millionaire Riches” Scratchers ticket. The winning ticket was purchased at Express Mart, 1919 Richardson Road, in Arnold.

“I was at the DMV, and the gas station was beside it,” shared the winner. “ I saw the ticket and decided to get one.”

After she got home and had a chance to scratch the ticket, she realized it held one of 40 prizes of $50,000 offered in the game.

“I was flipping out!” she laughed. “I called my husband at work and he said, ‘No Way,’ so I took a picture and sent it to him!”

The winner shared plans to use some of the money towards home renovation projects.

So far, “Millionaire Riches” players have won more than $10.6 million in prizes. Over $244 million in prizes remain unclaimed, including all 15 $1 million top prizes and 36 additional $50,000 prizes.

In FY25, players in Jefferson County won more than $40.4 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $3.6 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $19.1 million in Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
