A Missouri Lottery player in Maryville was shocked when he discovered he’d won a $274,000 Show Me Cash prize in the March 14 drawing.

“I just happened to look on my phone and checked the winning numbers,” he explained. “I couldn’t believe my eyes!”

The Show Me Cash ticket he purchased at Break Time, 1517 E. 1st St. in Maryville, was one of two tickets to match all five numbers drawn March 14, resulting in a $274,000 prize for each ticket holder. The other winning jackpot ticket was sold across the state in Hazelwood. The winning numbers that night were 23, 34, 36, 37 and 39.

Show Me Cash drawings are held daily at 8:59 p.m., with jackpots that start at $50,000 and grow until won. Tonight’s jackpot is estimated at $195,000.

In FY25, players in Nodaway County won more than $1.5 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $155,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $4.3 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
