A Missouri Lottery player claimed a $100,000 top prize on a “TETRIS” Scratchers ticket purchased at Barnes Mart, 1004 W. Saint Joseph St., in Perryville.

“I like games that take longer to play,” he explained.

His ticket held one of four $100,000 top prizes in the “TETRIS” Scratchers game. To date, players have won more than $8.4 million in prizes since the game was released in August. One additional $100,000 prize remains unclaimed.

When asked what plans he had for his winnings, the winner said he was going to take a vacation with the family.

“We’re going to donate some to the church, pay off some of the kids’ bills and save half for a rainy day,” he added.

In FY25, Perry County players won more than $4.9 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $390,000  in commissions and bonuses, and more than $930,000 in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
